My chart is boring this month. No dips, no real temp rises...it's just hanging out there doing nothing.

I do have an actual question though: does your temp tend to go up or down when you're sleep deprived? I only got 45 minutes of sleep before I took my temp. I woke up at 4:15 because the snow plows were going through and couldn't get back to sleep until 5:00. I should have temped at 4:15, but didn't.

I would think your temp would be lower with more sleep, but I've noticed when I temp during the day just for the heck of it, it's normally lower than my waking temp and that can be after walking up stairs, etc. Weird.

I think I can answer this one as I've nearly become an insomniac (exaggerating but it feels that way). I've been waking up waaay before my normal temp time just about every day. I've too have tried to go back to sleep but unable to do so. I'd take my temp as soon as I leave that groggy/sleepy feeling in that case (or right away if I'm only .5 - 1.5 hours off). And I may continue to temp after every waking (or eye opening thereafter). Have you ever done this? Open eyes and notice that an hour has flown by? That's what I mean.

For me, if my temp is going to be low (97's for me), it has been low. When it is high (98's) it remains high. Now, it HAS jumped up .4 degrees before. And it even has came down .4 degrees before (only once).

So to sum this up, I find that my temp generally increases as the morning progresses. Sometimes quickly and sometimes very slowly.

In my chart, all of my open circle indicate temp taken before my normal temp time. I figured that my temp "would have" been somewhat higher at the normal time sooo...I feel I can still use it. I may be wrong but this is just my experience.

Your temps look good. I've heard that flat temps are good because you have steady hormones which is great for pg. as far as which way your temps go with less sleep i'm not sure, but one off temp is okay. Don't stress about it. Stress not good for implantation! Good Luck!

Sleep and temps are tricky. If you wake up early and temp you will most likely get a lower temp. But, if you are truly sleep deprived and waking up off and on but temp at a some what regular time, than your temps may be elevated because your BBT didn't get low since you didn't have 3 good hours of sleep. The other night Caroleigh was up for 2 hours, and I had trouble falling asleep, so I only slept for about 2 hours, my temp was high that day.
