I just figured this out and I'm confused on what that means. I have charted my last three cycles and have had an 11, 11, and 13 day LP. I didnt think was supposed to vary or be that short. Can someone help me? Just when I think I have it figured out I get confused again!

Your LP can vary, it is usually about the same though, maybe just a day or two different, so from 11-13 is not too much of a difference.

11 days is not too short though, I think it needs to be less than 10 days to be considered a LP defect. Mine normally varies from 11-13 days, and I have three healthy children, I have also never had a miscarraige.

I agree. I think it is mostly a concern if it less than 10 days.

Mine varies from 11-12 days as well. I talked to my dr about it and faxed him my chart. He told me that he likes the LP to be at least 14 days long. I had my progesterone checked (which seems to be normal) but he may start me on some meds to lengthen my LP. If you are curious, you should talk to you doctor. I'm sure every dr is different, but they may help answer some of your questions. Good luck!

My LP is 11 too. During my appointment with my doc, she said she wants it to be longer as well. Next cycle I'm going to do clomid to see if that'll move O up. She's also going to do bloodwork next cycle to check all my levels. It might be worth a call or visit to your doctor.
