I'm new to charting. Two days a week, I get up at 615am. The other 5, I get up at 800am. Is this difference in time going to be a major issue? Thanks for your help!

It shouldn't be. You are looking for an over all pattern. If you are not able to get a good idea of your thermal shift after a chart or two you may want to wake up early on those two days, temp and go back to sleep. I do that, but for me it doesn't make to much of a difference. I could always temp a little later, but find it just as easy to temp and go back to sleep.

This past cycle I had some odd temping times and a few restless nights and still got cross hiars on FF. Check out my chart and look at all the open circles. See, it still has the lovely CHs.

Hello
From what I have read the 2 hour difference does make a difference but for me personally it does not. It is true that you are looking for a pattern. If you notice that your temps are fluctuating weird on the days that you are sleeping later then I would try settint a little alarm temping and going back to sleep...a pain I know. From what I have read the later you get the higher the temp but Im not really sure why.
Good luck!!

That amount of time makes a difference for me in my temp. I tested it to see. I set my alarm for 5:20 am every morning to temp and then just go back to sleep. I then wake up at 7, and sometimes I take my temp again to see the difference. It is usually several tenths of a degree higher at 7am than at 5:20 am.

Thanks! I think for this cycle I will see what happens, and adjust as necessary. I think yesterday was o day. My temp only went up by about 2 tenths, but I also took it an hour and a half earlier than I have been. Thanks again.
