Hi all

Im really addicted to posting now, this is my third post since I found the site and I love it.

My next question is (I have lots it seems) is are there any working moms ttc? I have 3 young boys aged 4-1/2, 3 and 20 months and husband and I work fulltime and kids are in daycare. Other than when we are working kids are always with us, I dont drop them off at a sitter to go our, I believe they are my repsonsibility and feel guilty enough being apart from them when they are with the sitter (she is a wonderful woman who runs it out of her home)

As I said in my previous posts, I really would like to conceive #4. Does anyone have any advice fgor me or is anyone in the same boat as me? What I mean is do you think its fair to have anothert baby even though we both work fulltime?

Im 32 (will be 33 in Nov) and husband will be 30 in July, so I am getting older and would like to have another before it is too late for me. ALready my periods seem to be acting strange as they are not coming at regular intervals (they have been coming between 29-35 days for the last few months)

Thanks for listening and advice....

I'm not a mommy yet, but I do work, and I plan on working when I have kids(well, maybe after they get a bit older).

Anyway, I just wanted to say good luck, and welcome to JM!!! Hope you enjoy it here!

HI! I'm a working mom. I work 4 days/week but my job is flexible and I can take off when needed to take my son to the doctor or when he sick. I do hope to be able to stay home for 6mo -a year when I have my next bundle of joy. But if I have to work to pay bills, then I will do so.

I work fulltime, aobut 50 hours a week. But, my DH is a SAHD so we don't have to worry about daycare right now. We may have to next year when he starts his classes for his education degree.

I don't think having two working parents is horrible, just challenging. You may find though that after #4 comes it won't be worth it for both of you to work. When our youngest was born I did the math and figured we were losing $7 week paying for daycare, that was when DH became a SAHD. He agreed that his ego was not worth the $28 a month we were losing out on for him to feel like he was 'contributing' to the household by working. With him home we save WAY more than $28 a month because of money savig things he can do now, like cook, making things we need, etc.
