Okay ladies, I bet your thrilled but its me again...lol

Ive been reading online about ovulation signs and such but maybe you can offer me some better signs. Besides buying OPK's which I know if taken at the wrong time I can miss it, what can I look for. I know I can get some pains in my side but as I said in previous posts, I get pains like that a few times per month so that can be be a given for me. Am I making sense. Also since today is either CD 12 or 13 depending if you consider the 9pm spotting on 2/15 or the full blown red on 2/16 as day 1, would it be too late to start charint now? Also, can I take my temp orally with a digital thermometer or do I need to buy the special thermometer? Finally, I sleep with alot of blankets so Im usually warm in the morning, will that effect anything. I really appreciate all you ladies reading my posts and offering you r advice because other than my middle child whom I conceived after a m/c, my other pregnancies (3) were unplanned but so very welcomed, so I dont know much about charting etc especially since my cycle is changing lately.

Thanks.

You can start charting anytime, and you will learn as you go! Your cervical mucus is the most accurate way to identify ovulation. Temperatures, OPK's, cervical position are all very helpful too and will confirm what your mucus pattern reveals. Best wishes!

The simplest rule for TTC, if you feel wet or slippery - go BD.

I'm gonna try and answer a few questions. You can start charting anytime. But I'd start now if you are going to start because you should be on cd10 by now, right? when you sign up for a charting site (I use FF cause it's free) then make sure you mark spotting and AF on the days you had it and it will start you chart on the right day. I use opk's (and I love them), and try and use CM as an indicator, but I don't always have much watery or egg white cm. And the cycles I have had it, it's not always my O day, but a day or two before O, that's why I like temping, to confirm my O day. kwim.

Anyway, I don't htink sleeping with the blankets will matter, you'll be able to tell when you start temping. Good lUck!!!
