The link to my chart is in my siggy...I've been sick the past few days, and occasionally running a low grade fever. I haven't discarded my temps because I was waiting to see over the next few days how my temps would run and such......
Anywho, if you look at my chart, you can see that FF thinks I've Od. Now...I started OPKs(for the very first time) yesterday...and got a faint line(negative, I know). But when I checked my CM and CP this morning, I've got EWCM and my CP is SUPER high, wet, soft and open. I'm very very confused.
I am taking all sorts of expectorants right now, which could explain something with the CM....and I'm on antibiotics as of last night....but the CP? I'm really confused! Can your CP change like that more than once a cycle? I don't usually O til much later in the cycle. Or, does your CP stay like that after you O?????
LOL, oh, and I'm taking B6 this cycle to help with my short LP.
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FF is just being a little too generous. It likes to emphasize the temperatures which can lead to false interpretations, because the mucus pattern is more accurate for confirming ovulation.
Now, with the internal observations things can be a little goofy. Mucus found internally isn't always the most accurate reflection of your fertility because during the infertile part of the cycle, glands called the Pockets of Shaw cause the mucus to dry up as is passes through the vagina. Checking internally disrupts this process and so you might find fertile mucus there when you are not actually fertile, because it hasn't had the chance to chance to undergo those important changes. It's more accurate to pay observe externally - do you feel wet? Do you feel dry? Do you feel sticky? Slippery? If you like to check your CP, do it at the end of the day so as not to disrupt the day's mucus observations.
The cervix can fluctuate a lot in a cycle - especially if you ovulate late. It will begin to open whenever your body tries to ovulate, even if the attempt fails. Your body is probably doing that right now! Whether it actually will or not has yet to be known, so go BD!

Thanks hon! Good points to know!
I did notice when I wipe that I am very wet....and it's EWCM. Clear and stretchy, with some watery mixed in.
My saliva scope also had full ferning, but I don't 100% trust it. I guess it'll depend on the OPKs!

PERFECT! That's exactly what I mean by paying attention externally - get off the computer and into something silky...LOL. You will know you have had a fertility Peak (or ovulation in laymen's terms) when you notice an abrupt change in the mucus, it will become drastically drier from one day to the next. If the change is more gradual or not very drastic, it was a likely a false alarm and ovulation didn't occur - so be on guard for the next attempt!

Is it performance anxiety related? Like, from the pressure of TTC?

No...although when we took a little break last month, it was a bit easier for him. It's been like this for a loooong time. He does have medications(Cialis, Viagra and Levitra) to take, but we really try not to use those if we don't have to...they give him headaches and they are a bit dangerous. He's not the typical male...in that, he's not really up for BDing all the time...he'd rather not most of the time, lol.
I do what I can! We average about 4 times a cycle. Makes TTC even harder, YKWIM? He's very much into TTC and wants to get pregnant...but I think if he could get me pg without BDing he'd be super happy!!! He's had an SA done and we have some motility issues as well.
Thanks for the advice!

I would honestly say you haven't O'ed yet, you ten to O much later in your cycle than where you are now. Keep doing the OPKs though.
Are you doing them more than one time a day?

Yes, I am. Just to make sure I cover my bases! Have a feeling this cycle is going to be sneaky...so I'm making sure I know what's going on! Thanks!
