Crappy Situation

I'm slightly annoyed today. This is my last day to get the discount on FF (my trial is up) and I TOTALLY WANT TO! but the frugal side of me is thinking, what if I get even a 3 month subscription, and then I find out I'm PG? (since I'm in the TWW) Then I'll waste my Money.

Bummer. By the time I know if I am PG, I will have lost the chance for a good deal.

Does it offer you much during PG? Anything orth buying it for?

Don't worry, if you aren't pg - they will offer you the free trial and the "deal" again in a month or two.

They do have some sort of pregnancy tracker or something, because when I paid for the VIP, they sent me something about it.

But like Shawna said, they'll offer the VIP to you again, discounted.

Another option is to download the ovusoft program, put all you info in from this month and see if you like it. You only get a 15 day trial, so you want to start in the middle of your cycle. That you only pay for once, so if you do get preggo you aren't out as much. I am going to buy it since I didn't get preggo this cycle.

I have the ovusoft program and it's really awesome. I don't know anything about FF, but TCOYF has worked perfectly for me. Have you been the the website TCOYF.com? You can look at other people's cycles and charts and there's a message board there too. It's pretty helpful!

Yes I've seen it...and it looks really nice, I even got a trial CD ROM with the book I bought. But I know this sounds stupid, I get used to something and then I don't want to switch. Even though TCOYF looks way better to me...I still just want to stick with what I know.

LOL! But I will look into it. Maybe if I am PG then I'll try TCOYF after the 6 loooong months ahead!

I don't really use FF when I am pg, they do have a sister site for pregnancy, but I don't use it.

BUT I was lucky, I got in on the VIP of FF when you could by it for a lifetime rather than months at a time now.

Popping in from Oct DDC. I got the VIP and they do have a pregnancy tracker but it is confusing and doesn't really give much info. Basically it is a chart that tracks your symptoms. It also gives you info on what is happening to you and baby each day but I have books that go into more detail! You can still chart while TTC without getting the VIP version. HTH!

Ok, I have been thinking about this some since this thread and the other one asking pretty much the same thing.

I am thinking I will for sure buy ovusoft and not pay for FF. Since I can still use FF for free. That way I get to use two programs and have one to cross check against the other.

Or you could try fertilitycircle.com.

I use FF and dont have the VIP. I didnt even see the point of getting the VIP at all. It still tells me when I o and gives me a coverline I didnt need anything else. I also use FC(fertilitycircle.com) so I have another one to go off of. I do have the gold for that one, but I dont use any of the special things you get with it.
