The annoying preteen brat upstairs called 911,laughed and said OH MY GOD HAHA,hung up and then denied it and said it was us. so I'm asleep and I hear a knock. I grabbed a blanket and looked out the peephole. Its an RCMP officer . Obviously I cant say wait while I take my temperature and I'll get the door.
so I answered the door and she tells me the story blah blah blah. I show her it wasnt us who did the prank to 911 and she leaves.

I took my temperature afterwards but it was wayyyyy lower than normal. I had been outside talking to the cop in just my underwear and a thin blanket it was 35.6. I laid down for 20 minutes and it was 36.6.

which one do I use? (after I have a chat with the brat who thought that was a funny prank first thing in the morning )

Was it earlier than you would normally take it? If so the lower one is probably closer to what your temp really was when you woke up. I would chart the first one and then see what happens over the nxt few days, if you need to you could adjust it. I usually will put the second temp into my notes area and why I took it tice, so if my interpretation looks funny, I know why and can make a decision based on that.

Oh, I didn't realize that you already O'd. Really, it doesn't matter. SInce you already O'd it isn't as important to have the most accurat etemp possible. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

the second one was right at the normal time and the first one was 20 minutes before. ok I wasnt sure it if mattered after ovulation. If I put the first then it will want to change my ovulation!.


ok so it changed my ovulation anyways :S

ok right now I officially hate that little brat face. if I was ttc this cycle i'd probably go scream at her.

If her parents dont ground her for this Im going to be very noisy EVERYDAY ALL DAY since the mother works nights and sleeps days.

screw it I'm using my vaginal temp. I temp both everyday but only record the oral on FF and both on my paper chart.

I really don't agree with FF's interpretaiton. It looks to me like you O'd on CD 14 or 15, not as late as FF is saying.
