How long do you think it can stay away? With all my other kids AF returned a little before a year old. Leo turned a year last Sunday. I really thought AF would be here by now. We are not really in a big hurry ttc, but I sure would like to know where the heck AF is. I tested today again just in case and still BFN. Who knows.

Just wanted to say good luck hon!

Did you BF Leo? If so, that would have a LOT to do with it. I would also think that after each child, your body would take a bit longer to return to "normal".

I hope the witch shows up soon for you!

Yep, actually he is still bfing probably about 4- 6 times a day. I am sure that is why, just surprised that it is still missing.

I was using them every day, but then I stopped. I have no CM at all so I don't think I have anything going on. I think maybe my body tried to O but didn't. I am honestly just surprised that AF has stayed away so long. I lost my thermometer again and got to find it. I am going to try and find it tonight so I can start temping again. It's just so boring temping when nothing is going on.

Totally normal. Different babies nurse differently (some more aggressively than others), so you can have different lengths of lactational ammenorhea with different babies.

All you need to do is chart your cervical mucus, if you have the same thing for 2 weeks without change you are still experiencing breastfeeding infertility. If the mucus is changing and progressing from day to day, then you are likely experiencing cervical mucus related to the hormonal fluctuations indicating the return of your fertility. It's very common for there to be several little mucus warm ups before the body gets around to finally ovulating. I've walked many a client through the charting progess during the return of fertility (and have done so personally for avoiding purposes) - so if you have any questions, just ask!
