Frustrating, but a very normal event with PCOS. Sometimes your body will gear up to ovulate and not go through with it, then try again later. This could be it, you'll only know for sure after it happens. I also have PCOS and have conceived babies on CD23, CD54, and CD60 - so ovulating late does not mean you can't conceive, it simply means that over the course of a year you'll have fewer ovulations work with.
Stress, travel, and illness can also delay ovulation when the PCOS isn't doing it. Anything significant happen this cycle when you had that first patch of mucus that could have interrupted the process?[/b]

This cycle nothing significant going on, so maybe I am going back to normal. I HOPE! Last cycle we had moved from Oregon to Connecticut, so possibly moving along with stress affected me.
I did an OPK this afternoon and it was - so I'll keep trying this week. The EWCM seems to be sticking around.
Thank you for your input!
