crossposted in ttc after loss

So earlier today around 1pm I did my OPK, and the line was not as dark as the control line, but definitely not faint either (earlier in the cycle there was no line at all, or so faint you had to squint to see it). I thought for sure my surge was coming and I'd test again later and see a darker line. So, just a few minutes ago, I did another one, and the line is so faint you can barely see it! This is my first cycle using OPK's and they're driving me nuts

So...was the first one a fluke? Or did my surge happen and I missed it? How fast does this happen, is it something I could miss in just a few hours? I want to put positive in my chart, but I'm just not sure

Did you hold your pee before taking the second one? I have done it where I didnt hold my pee and it was lighter then the first. I really dont think it can be a fluke because your surge comes when it comes kwim? I would retest tomorrow and see what happens, what kinda opks you using hun?

I held my pee, and I am using Answer brand for long cycles (so I get 20 test strips in a tube).

I used the other Answer and hated them. Someone did tell me that you can have a fluke in them, but I dont see how truthfully. Maybe you did have a fluke hun.

Now that I think about it, I did have a lot to drink today. I had to go back and look at my intake for me to realize it.

I don't think you have O'd yet. I'd keep testing. Have you talked to your doctor about your cycles? Just wondering if he/she could help with this at all.
