Hi ladies, I'm so confused about ovulation, I'm hoping some of you can help me a little.

DH & I are not ttc but I came off BC in December and am trying to "get in tune" with my body. My last 3 cycles have been:
Dec - Jan 29days
Jan - Feb 25 days
Feb - March 25 days

For this month, I went on my cycle being approx 25 days long again. And going by poas.com it said to use OPK from CD8. I have some test strips and have used one daily since monday which was CD6. Today's was very very faint. And according to POAS, I have not yet had a + as they say the test line should be eaqual or darker than the control line. I haven't had that. Do you think I have O'd already?

What CD would be the typical O day on a 25 day cycle? I'm so confused!

HI my cycles range from 23-29 days. I O'd on cd10 last cycle and had a 25 day cycle. If you are startig to get lines on you opk then your surge should be coming. Keep testing. I test with opk's anywhere from noon - 5pm and get my +. I can now (after a year) tell when I'm about to get a +opk by the aches and pains I get before hand. Also monitor your CM. YOu can do that just by wiping with tp after going PP. If you wipe and it's wet and slippery then you are fertile. That is considered EWCM (egg white) and that's the best cm for bding. Sperm live longer in your fertile cm.

Good Luck charting and ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable with charting.

Thing is, I should have said in my post... the line has gotten more faint as the days go by. Do you think that means I've already Od? Confusing huh!!

I *think* i have a fair idea when I do O as I feel crampy like AF is trying to start, but obviously it's mid-cycle so I know I'm not due for her.

I have another Q to ask...

Around O time, do you get a little more tender down below? ... not sore, not more sensitive, but a little more tender, like when you wipe after pp, for example? Sorry to be a pain!

If by tender, you have noticed that your vulva is swollen and sensitive - that is a VERY accurate sign of ovulation, though not every woman notices it. The reason it's a good sign is that it usually doesn't occur when there has been an ovulation attempt which has failed, but it accompanies a good ovulation!

YEY!!! I got a + on an ovulation test strip!

Is it "normal" to O quite late though? my cycle is approx 25 days, and going by the typical CD14 rule, I should have Od a week ago.
