This is killing me. Both charts say I oed on CD13, FF is vaginal temping, FC is oral. I have got such great stable temps and all I am getting is BFN on my HPT. I hate being in limbo, called the dr yesterday. They are open from 9 until noon and was told I have to wait it out. If I dont get AF for 2 mos they will test me and then go from there. Is there a chance I didnt O? Someone on another board said my temps are too low to say I Oed. Is that true? I usually get AF around CD50 if I didnt O. I hate being in limbo.

To be honest, it kind of looks like a Lutenized Unruptured Follicle (in other words, a crappy ovulation). Basically, if the ova doesn't rupture all the way through the ovary, it can produce just enough progesterone to make your temperatures rise - but not enough progesterone to sustain the thermal shift for very long. Or the thermal shift is very weak. The low level of progesterone can also make the luteal phase drag on for up to 18-21 days since it is the sharp drop in estrogen and progesterone which makes menstration occur. With that little drop from a low level of progesterone, it just takes your body a few extra days to figure out that it is supposed to bleed.

It's more likely to occur with PCOS. Do you have taht? I do and I had a cycle like this once and have seen it just a few times in the charts of clients (all PCOS ladies). I'll share a pick of that one - it's the bottom chart in the link below...you can see that the thermal shift was very weak, hardly any higher than my other temps. And the long luteal phase too.

No I dont have PCOS usually I range from 8-13 days, usually its more 11 days. Last cycle it was 8 days I think maybe 9 anyway I dont go over 13 days. So this is all new to me, the last cycle I had a long LP 21 days I had a cyst. Forgot to say I am on B6 to make my LP longer. I wouldnt think it would make it this long.

Yes, if you had a cyst before with a 21 dat LP - it was a lutenized unruptured follicle (LUF) like I explained - that's exactly what happens. The egg doesn't pop all the way through the ovary, so it grows into a cyst instead. It looks like you're having the same thing again. B6 won't do this, it will just give you a healthy LP.

PCOS can be difficult to diagnose, it takes a really thorough investigation if you don't display the classic symtpoms. It might be worth getting a second opinion on that.

(((Hugs))) don't really have anything to offer to this thread, but I figured I'd throw a hug your way just the same.
