i didn't realize that option was on here. do you use the temp. corrector & trust it? i've woken up early the past few days, not by choice. i charted all my temps just figuring it wouldn't really matter. well, i found the temp. corrector today & my chart looks totally different. before, i thought i o'd on cd 10 because temp dipped then rose .4. well, now that i corrected my temps, i don't have a dip in my temps. do you need a dip in your temp to have O'd?? or does it just need to rise .4?

Are the ones you have on there now the corrected ones? When I click on your chart it looks like you had your dip on CD 9 and Oed on CD 10 still.

A temperature"dip" is something that is completely inconclusive, but has taken on a life of it's own in the world of mythology. LOL Some women get them, some don't, and it really doesn't mean anything at all. You can ovulate with one or without one.

What is conclusive is the scientifically documented thermal shift. Progesterone is produced after ovulaiton and causes the basal body temperature to rise after ovulation. So when you see a thermal shift, 3 temperatures which are at least .2 degrees higher than the previous 6 - you can be quite certain that ovulation has occured, dip or no dip.

Hope that helps!

I do sometimes adjust my temps, but I have been charting for years and know my personal changes pretty well. I won't adjust more than one temp per cycle usually. If I wake up early/late three days in a row I will not change those, If I adjust anything it is the one that is at the regular time immediately after the three or 4 messed up ones. Since the three will show a pattern.

I do not think lookg at your chart that you O'd on CD 9 or 10, you have to cross referecne the CM and temps, which would be more like CD 12 since that is when you had an abrupt change in CM from fertile to less fertile.
