That's right, CD1 should be the first day you require more than a pantyliner. Before that it's still considered pre-menstral spotting and should remain with the old cycle so your Luteal Phase length will be counted correctly.
Brown pre-menstral spotting combined with a short luteal phase can be a sign of low progesterone (easily treated) - so if it continues longer than a few cycles without improvement, it's something to mention to your doctor.
Because you're 11DPO, it could be either AF or implantation. Wait until it's full flow before calling it a new cycle.[/b]

Thank you... I go Friday to the doctor I am going to show her my charts ... again!
and tell her I really believe my LP is too short and I have a progesterone problem... see what she says.

If your doctor refuses to listen to you, can you find anyone else for a second opinion?

I am going to look into it. I was sticking with her mainly because she was who I was referred to when I found out I had breast cancer and she kinda knew my situation. I am going to take the approach that I have been reading a lot of stuff on the internet and from charting it is showing that my LP is normally around 10 days and that I have shown to have spotting leading up to my period for at least a day or so.
Still I have not started to flow.. just brown stuff!
I dont get it!
I really thought I would start by now.... CD 29..
Guess I just have to be patient.. I'd be happy if I weren't spotting.. then my LP would be longer!
