Hey ladies....I'm temping vaginally this month, and I was just wondering....

is it normal to be running fairly high temps vaginally? I think I had heard from Magan that vaginal tends to run higher, but I'm in the 99 range....which is abnormal for me--close to fever, but not quite.

Any insight?

If you tend to be a mouth breather, you might find that your vaginal temps are substantially higher than your oral ones.

No...not a mouth breather here. In the evenings, my temps tended to be in the 98 range, so I'm thinking that for them to be in the 99 range vaginally is normal, but I was just curious what the "experts" thought!

Mine are higher too, and I have noticed a LOT more stable. As you can see mine are in the 97.9 range and I never even ovulated yet. So I would say once I do O mine would be higher too.

I've been tempting vaginally since starting clomid and the numbers are a lot higher. I believe I read somewhere that vaginal temps are around .5 degrees higher than an oral temperature.
