Ok, I have a lot of CM the last few days, but I'm confused as to what to call it. Before, I was on the ring, and it seemed that I always had an abundance of CM. But this is definitely the most I have had since the D&C. I'm guessing when it says "egg white" that means it's more clear? Mine is more opaque, whitish, but very stringy, sticky, and stretchy. What exactly do I call that? OPK's are still coming up negative...Thanks for any input![/b]

Sorry to contradict you Miles, but it's absolutely untrue that sperm won't live in mucus that is thick or white - every woman has her own unique mucus patterns and for most - thicker or cloudier mucus is what is produced at the begining of the follicular phase (the fertile time). This is the mucus which can trap sperm and lock it away for up to 5 days - it even sorts out the good ones from the bad! The clear lubricative mucus which appears closer to ovulation provides channels through which the sperm travel to the egg - either freshly deposited sperm, or that which has been locked away in the cervical crypts for a few days!
*Any* mucus at all has the potential to nourish sperm cells - doesn't matter the color or stretchibility - as you continue to chart Linette, you will learn what is most fertile for you.
As far as what you call it, that depends on what charting system you use, they all have different ways of classifying mucus, LOL. With Fertility Friend, just go with whatever sounds about the closest to what you've observed.
