Can you ovulate and not have a thermal shift?

I dont believe so hun. I think that you have to have a thermal shift because that thermal shift shows progesterone which you get AFTER you O.

I looked at your chart, and I see your on CD18 got a positive opk on CD17. It can take 3 days to O after your first positive opk so you still have a chance hun!

Thanks I sure hope so! I am just worried well nto worried really but I only hvae a 28 day cycle so I don't think my LP will be long enough. If God wants us to concieve this month though I guess it'll work

I see temps went up hun! Your LP wont change even if you O later, your just have a longer cycle is all. Do you usually O later or early?

I don't know really seeing is the is only my 2nd cycle back since giving birth to my dd but before I had a 28 day cycle everytime and would O on CD 14 I was very text book so this is new to me

It is very possible for your cycles to change post partum, or even just as you get older. My have changed. I used to O on CD 12 or so, with a 12 day LP so a short 24 day cycle. Now I O anywhere from CD 15-18 and have about a 10-12 day LP.

Charting will help you see what is going on, and that maybe you do O later now, so you could very well have missed the eggie by BDing too soon.

I agree. My cycles have changed quite a bit post partum, plus from getting older.
