I think this cycle is ruined now

I woke up this morning and finally got a bit of a spike in temp. I was very happy that maybe I finally O'd and with more temp rise I would know. But then I started to feel sick and now I know I am sick. So is my whole cycle ruined now that I will be sick over the time I should be Oing or is there something I can do to salvage it?

Just because your sick doesnt mean anything, now if you have a fever it may screw it up. It doesnt look like you have a fever to me hun, I would keep temping just to see.

Thanks but I have a fever now. I am burning and my muscles are aching! I am going home and going to bed and not coming in to work tomorrow. So does this temp count since I didn't have a fever in the morning? What do I do tomorrow morning now that I have a fever?

Todays am wasnt a fever so your fine. If tomorrow is a fever you can put it in but mark fever and it wont attach it.

Yep if you have a fever note that in your chart, you can still montior your CM for fertile signs and if you feel up to it, bd when you have fertile cm. You can also use opk's along with charting cm and temps to help make your chart more accurate. Good Luck and hope you feel better.

I don't feel like I have a fever today but I still am sick and I took my temp and it was 98.6 which is really high for me. Do you think I should use it or discard it? It is not actually high enough to be a fever.

Hmmmmm I'd just mark illness on your chart, you could've O'd we'll see what your next couple of temps are and how your cm goes. You may want to bd every other day until you see a true biphasic chart. Good Luck!

It is a HUGE jump. I guess I will just have to wait and see if my temp stays up that high. If it looks out of place then I guess it is the fever and I can mark fever and skip it.
