My dr gave me Provera the other day, so that I can jumpstart AF and move on the the next cycle. I have only been taking it for 2 days and since I have been taking it my temps have been really high. I am guessing that this is just from the Provera......am I right or wrong?

If my temp stays high again tomorrow FF is going to give me CH with O on CD 68. What should I do?

Honestly sweetie I don't know, maybe you did O? Maybe you should call your doc and see what he/she has to say. Or call your pharmacist and see if elevated temps is a side effect of provera.

I asked the guides on FF and thought I would share the answer in case anyone else is wondering.

This is what the guide had to say:

Yes, provera can cause temps to show a rise. The best thing to do is put your chart on override, NOT showing an ovulation day, as the software may interpret this rise as an ovulation pattern inaccurately.

Sorry, I'm just now seeing this, but yes, it will cause your temps to rise. What the provera is doing is putting progesterone in your system to fool your body into thinking you've O'd, so that when you stop taking it, your levels drop (as do your temps) and your period comes on.

I'm on day two of Prometrium as well, it sucks. I have really bad PMS and emotional symptoms when I take this stuff.

Good luck!
