How did you hear about it and what did you think about when you first heard about it?

I first heard about it as a teen. My mom got worried because I hadn't had my period yet (at 14...) and so the dr wanted me to chart. I didn't really think anything about it. Just something annoying I had to do.

Now though, it's still annoying although ff looks like it's going to make things a lot easier : )

Same with me, I was told to get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and that is how I heard about it. So then I got online and heard more, once I got on here everyone told me about it!
At first I thought, wow that is a little over doing it to just try to get pg, but now I know why you do it!

I was told by other friends that had trouble conceiving that temping was hard and very inconvient so I never did it before. But after I lost Hannah I was in the PL forum and I saw the FC forum here and thought I would peek in. It didn't seem like you guys were frustated so I thought I would give it a go. So far I very much like doing it and I don't find waking up at the same time an inconvience at all since I have dogs that demand I get up at the same time every day for breakfast (they don't understand Sat or Sun at all!)

Years ago when I was trying for ds, I hated it so stopped temping and low and behold just got pg after a year off b/c. Now I'm more into charting, but prefer opk's so I use charting with opks just to see when I O after my + opk. kwim.

I heard about it from here! I actually joined the TTC with PCOS board and then I would wonder in and out of other boards. It took me a couple of months before I would try it. I am soo glad I did because my cycles were so irregular that I never knew when I was going to O. Now thanks to charting and metformin I am 10 weeks pregnant!
