Hi there,

well I made the decision to start charting when I was CD18 and as of today i've only taken my temp 4 mornings in a row. Ive been sick the last 4 morning and have a sick 2 year old so I think that my lack of sleep has affected my temps...

Anyway, my question is this.
If you start over half way through a cycle like me, and only manage to temp 4 days, there is no way that the chart will be able to tell you when you have Ovulated right?? So just because my chart never said that I O'd doesnt necissarily mean that I didnt right??

I hope that all makes sence, Im TTC and a PCOS sufferer so Im always worried that Im not Ovulating. Maybe I shouldnt really count this month, start fresh on the next one?!

Your right unless you O really late in your cycle and then you can get more temps to tell if and when you O. Now if you Oed before you started to temp then you wont know if you did by your temps.

Thanks Miles.... thats what I thought. I guess that I can still hold on to the hope that I did O and that I conceived this month. At least for a little while longer!

Magan is right on this one. It will be hard to tell if you O'd or not this cycle if you started on day 18. I would try to just stay consistent next cycle if you don't get your bfp this month.

Do you have a link to your chart? Once you start charting you will know about how your temps are and what pre and post O temps are for you! I'd not stress yourself the rest of this cycle....and hopefully you won't have to worry about any more cycles!
