I want to start charting when I get off of BC, but I really don't know much about CM. When do you usually check CM? I know that you have to temp right when you get up, but CM I am confused.

Most women can monitor their cm throught out the day just by wiping with tp. IF it wet/slippery than it's W/EW and fertile.

I am not sure if you are charting to prevent or to ttc. If you are charting to prevent, you might want to swing by the Natural Family Planning board because most us gals here are not qualified to give advice on preventing pregnancy.

I just check with the TP trick. I'm trying to concieve so When I get wet/slippery (sorry that sounds tmi) then I know to bd! lol

If your trying to avoid then best thing is to check more then once a day, heck I am TTC and check more then once! Once you see fertile cm(ewcm or watery cm) then you Bd if your trying if not avoid at all cost!
