I am new at checking my cervical position and I did so today just to see where it was. It felt low and pretty soft but then I felt what seemed to be a hard bump not to far from the opening of my cervix. I remembered seeing a picture of something like that in my "Taking Charge Of Your Fertility" book. It is called a nabothian cysts and is suppose to be harmless and go away on it's own. Anyone heard of this before or ever had one?Also AF is due in 6 days and I am wondering if my cervix should be low and soft like that?

I have had a couple and they have gone away by themselves. Its take a little time for them to go but as long as they dont get any bigger my dr told me they were harmless.
When AF is around my cp usually is soft and low along with open.

Ok thank you so much. I was a bit worried when I felt that bump. And I am confused about my cp. When dh and I bd this morning he said he could feel it almost right away so I figured it was pretty low. But when I checked it, it took a little bit of "stretching" with my finger to find it. So it's seemed medium. And it was closed and soft. The only thing hard I felt was the little bump on it. I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out if I am pg or not. This is month 18 and I am so tired of BFN's. I keep getting a watery mouth like I have to spit and I got ill a few times today. But some of what I feel is also pms signs. The only thing I haven't gotten that I usually do get it really bad gas and cramps before AF. I got a bit of gas but not a whole lot like I usually get. And my skin seems really sensitive to touch. It almost hurts when my clothes rub against me. I am having sinus issues and almost feel like I am getting sick or something. God this sucks so bad not knowing! Your great though at answering my questions, thanks a lot!

Duh, I am so clueless about some of this. Thanks for your help though. I never thought I would have to do this in order to get pg. From age 18 to 23 I was pregnant 3 times and each happened from just one time of unprotected sex. So I assumed I was really fertile. So I am so confused as to why in the world it's been a year and a half of unprotected sex now and not one pregnancy. It's so weird.

Its ok hun, for me I was pg on BCP and the second time we had sex unprotected for the first time and got pg(sadly I miscarried). Its been a yr and a half for us as well and I feel weird checking my cm and cp when everyone else pretty much just gets pg by having sex.
