so, i posted ealier about my massive temp rise. well, i've been super hot all day!! so, i just took my temp to make sure i didn't have a fever. this morning, when i temped, it was 98.7. now, at 12pm, i temped and it was 98.17... what's up with that?? i thought your temp went up all day....or at least that it would rise after you woke up...not drop. so....is my temp from this morning accurate??? this just got me all confused.

Your temp can go down if your sitting doing nothing and you have the fans or air conditioner going. I wouldnt worry about the temp being wrong unless your thermometer is broken hun.

we don't have fans on or anything...but i did open the windows cuz i'm so darn hot!! it's a warm day today, here! i don't think my thermometer is broken. i just took my temp again..twice right in a row. it was 98.46 both times...but that means it just went up .3 in 10 minutes! this is craziness! thanks for the advice!! i'll see what it does in the morning.

It's quite normal for your temps to be all over the place during the day. That's why BBT is best way because you're not moving around or anything. You are at your calmest. Stress will cause temps to fluctuate too. I wouldn't worry at all.

oh i hope so, too!!! thanks so much for the advice girls!!! if i can hold out till morning to test, i'll let you know then what happens it's now been about 4 hours since i peed last...and i'm soooo wanting to test cuz of this temp....oh man!! i hope i can hold out!

Your temp can jump around all through the day.
