I keep getting almost the exact same temp, 97.76-97.78

I put it in my mouth, and it beeps at me after only 20 seconds or so, when it used to take around 45. This morning it did the same thing, I got 97.77....so I stayed laying down, and tried again. The second time was 97.86. ???? What temp should I use, and do you think there might be something wrong with my BBT? Thanks!

I believe 97.77 is the default temp. You have to wait until it clears to put it in your mouth.. That 2nd temp was the right temp. Also, round your temps to the 10th like 97.7 instead of 97.73. The chart looks much smoother when you do that.

It's possible to have very steady temps, that's a sign of your hormones are level...that's a good thing! If you are questioning your thermometer, I'd suggest maybe having another handy to do a secondary check on it? I would stick with your first temp, that's always best. The default temp on a thermometer is usually 97.70, so it's up a bit from the default.

The default on mine is 97.70. It beeps when I turn it on, flashes 97.70, and then indicates that it's ready. Then, it beeps when it's done.

I think I'm going to buy a new one, just in case. Geeze, way to ruin my whole cycle! Stupid thing. I mean, I guess it could be my real temps, but I think it's very odd given that it's BEFORE I Oed. I know that steady temps are good after you O.

Oh, and I rounded all of them to the nearest tenth. Now my term looks REALLY broken

I wouldn't round them, I leave mine to the hundreths. I mean, they put them on the thermometer, you might as well use them.

Okay, the BBT isn't broken. I just took my temp, and it was 98.4

Hmm....what the heck is going on with my chart??? Maybe I'm not ovulating.
