you can also go to www.fertilityfriend.com and sign up for a tutorial. They send you a new "course" every day and break you into charting one day at a time. It's pretty neat!

First and foremost you need a thermometer. Preferably a basal body thermometer that you pick up at a drug store. If you can't get one right away then use your reg therm as long as it's not a quick result one.

Second the best way for a beginner to monitor cervical mucus is simply by wiping with TP. When you wipe and it feel slippery, then you can concider that either Watery or egg white! both are fertile. Those are the days you should definately bd!

Last but not least, if you got good bding stamina, then you should bd 3-4 days/wk until you get use to you body and know when you are Oing.

I hope that helps some. But the sticky at the top of the page also has alot of great info you can read and refer back too. Good Luck! Oh and Welcome to the board!

I agree with everyone else. If you sign up for fertility friend you can post your chart here and the other ladies will be glad to help you out. Welcome to the board!

Get a basal body thermometer like they said. Take you temperature every morning before you get out of bed at the same time. Use fertilityfriend or something similar to track your daily temperatures. By the end of the month fertilityfriend will have detected your approximate time of ovulation (the best time for bding). It detects a low temp followed by a temp rise of .2 or more. It is also recommended that you check your cervical mucous. Just wipe and observe, is it sticky, slimey, gooey, dry? You can track this in fertilityfriend also. This info will help you know BEFORE you ovulate when to bd where as your temperatures will tell you AFTER you have ovulated. Hope this helps a little. Other than my very simplistic explanation i would recommend taking the fertilityfriend charting course! Good luck!
