That is a hard one, I know how you feel being I have long cycles. What you do is take your shortest cycle, so if its 24 days you should have Oed on CD11 I would start them around CD10. What I usually do is start them once I see fertile cm so I know I wont start them too early nor too late.

I made the mistake of testing too early last cycle and ran out. So this cycle I will probably only start testing 1-2 days before my last O cycle day and keep testing from there.

I would start around CD10 as well that would give you a good window to see your o. Have you thought of getting the ferning microscope to save you having to buy opk's just a thought!!

Hey Jessy, I would suggest buying cheapie OPKs either on earlypregnancytests.com or on ebay

They are a ton cheaper, but not as clear as the more pricy ones (Answer, First Response, etc). What I do is start using the cheapies around cd 11, and when they start to get darker, then I use the more expensive ones to confirm a + result. On the cheapies it can be harder to tell a + vs a - !

I'm doing what Magan is doing - waiting for more fertile looking CM to use the good OPKs. I have a Dollar Tree cheapie back up in case I get anxious and get an early usrge to POAS.

I also just bought one of those ferning microscopes off Amazon as a curiosity back up (it was only $8.75 US with free super saving shipping)
