Yesterday morning DH and I were in a car accident. We were driving straight, on our way home from breakfast, and a guy made a left turn and ran right into us. Luckily we were in the Caravan and not the car (or it could have been much worse). Dan slammed on the breaks and swerved, and we almost missed getting hit completely, but not quite. The guy got the back section of the sliding door on the driver side, the rear quarter panel of it, and blew the rear tire. DH wasn't hurt at all thank God, and I was shook up quite a bit and my neck was just a bit sore. Well, this morning I woke up and couldn't turn my head SO, DH took me to the hospital so we made sure it was documented and to get x-rays and medication. I have had a previous neck and shoulder injury (my left side) back in 2001 when I was in a similar accident (an old man made a left turn and slammed right into my car). At any rate, the reason I'm posting about this is the doctor put me on vicadin for the pain and valium for the muscle spasms....how will this affect my temps?

OMG hun I am so glad no one was really hurt. That happened to us as well in 05 a guy decided to turn right into us. I was driving the truck at the time and tried to miss him but it didnt work. No one was really hurt thank god. I am not too sure what it will do to your temps hun, but just make a note that you were on the meds at that time.

OMG! I'm so sorry about the accident but glad the injuries were minor. I'm not sure how it will affect your temp. I agree with Magan, just make a note on your chart that you were taking the meds. Hope you are feeling better.

Thanks ladies. My temps feel fairly steady, so I guess the meds aren't affecting them too much. I'm able to move my neck a little more than I was yesterday (which was not at all!), so that's progress

Hugs, I wouldn't think it would effect your temps too much. If you take it before bed it should be out of your system by bed time. I sure hope you are feeling better soon.
