so, does the time you go to bed change your temp at all?? for example, the past 2 nights, i've been going to bed around 11pm. well, tonight, i'll be falling asleep around 1am. i know that in the morning, your temp goes up & up every hour. that's why you have to take it at the same time every day. so, are you supposed to go to bed at the same time, too?? will that affect anything? i've been wondering this for a while! i don't know why i haven't posted it yet. i'd appreciate all your thoughts! thanks so much

As long as you have three hours of straight sleep, you should be fine as long as you're taking your temp at the same time in the morning

As long as your 3 consecutive hours of sleep and still temp at the same time each morning you are good to go!

it does seem weird to me that your temp would be accurate no matter the time you go to bed as long as you get up at the same time. but i trust you girls

I'd be in trouble if I had to go to bed at the same time every night! It's hard enough getting there early enough to get the 3 hours before 6AM! This is actually why I avoided temping for so long.

And yet, strangely... I love temping.

Nah, 90% of the time I just go right back to bed after I temp - we just keep weird hours due to DH's job. Believe me, I am cranky if I don't get my sleep either, LOL.
