Ok I got up at 5:30 my regular time, but I woke up at 4:30 b/c DS leaked all in his bed so I was up for about 10min. So.... I only slept for less than an hour when I took my 5:30 temps, which was 97.7. I knew that couldn't be right. I went back to sleep and woke up at 8:30 and temped and it was 98.6!! I had a good solid 3hrs sleep, which temp should I use?

Hmmm... normally you should use the first one, I suppose you could adjust it? But I think in this case I would use the 2nd one and make note of it. I had that happen to me last month where I kept getting woken up every hour on the hour & ended up using my 2nd, because that was the only one where I got enough sleep.

FF has a temp corrector and I would have probably used the temp corrector and used that temp. I put in your info and it said based on 98.6 temp at 8:30 am, your temp would have been 98.00 at 5:30am had you gotten 3 solid hours or more of sleep.

HTH!

FF has a temp corrector?! I had no idea! I need to find that!

My first thought was to use your first temp, but check sleep deprived, which would give you an open circle. Then make a note of both temps and times in the notes section. I did that once last cycle.

SInce it is after O, and you have a nice clear thermal shift that confirms O, I wouldn't really worry about it one way or the other.
