this cycle. I have already temped 2 times early this cycle and that isnt usual for me. This am I had to get up to pee so I temped at 545am and I dont usually temp until 7am. How much of a difference is it? I keep hearing how you can fix it by adding .1 tenth to every 1/2 you temp early and decrease it even .1 tenth you wake up later. Is this accurate at all?

I'm not sure if that's accurate or not, but I've heard it and read it .. I think of ff, actually. I know how you feel about not doing well temping! You should see my chart! It's allllll messed up! And, last cycle, I did soooooo much better!

You're in the 2WW so it's probably okay to not be as accurate, but there is a sticky with a temp corrector in it. You can use that. I just wouldn't use it if you think you are about to O or on your O day.

Adjusting one or two temps is ok. Your BBT slowly rises towards a waking temp as you get closer to waking. So if you are still asleep when you would normally be awake, your body thinks it should be awake and your temp will rise slightly. The same goes if you temp early, it will be lower because your body is not yet preparing to wake up. So if you wake up early you should add .1 for every half hour, if you wake up late you should subtract.

When i took the FF charting course it told me that temps CAN be corrected with the method you mentioned but its better to just put them in at the later/earlier time without trying to adjust. FF also offers a temp corrector if you have the VIP membership. HTH

*HUGS* At least you're in the 2WW and you're not needing it to determine O day!!

I haven't done so good lately either. It's been a crazy week though. Thursday and Friday I had to temp early so I could take my DH to work. Saturday I got married...YAY! And Monday I had to take my kids to the airport and forgot to temp at all. I have no idea what to think right now either. I really don't think this is my month though. Now I'm just hoping that AF shows up soon so I can get started on the next cycle.
