I've been charting AF for a while, but only recently started charting temps, cervix position & CF. My temps. are all over the place and my CF doesn't equate to baby making schtuff. BUT, it looks like to me that I O'd on CD7? And if I did, would doing the BD that morning have been too late? I don't get to see my BF on a regular basis some weeks due to his insane work schedule, so when he's here, I take full advantage of him and because I'm getting different O dates on different sites, I stalled the BD until the wee hours Sat. morning (2:30ish LOL) incase I didn't see him again until after all my predicted dates had passed and in the hopes that his swimmers have a good life expectancy. Now looking at my chart, I'm thinking we should have done the BD Friday night???????? I've been rather lucky this week as he's been around alot and he'll be here again tonight, but after that...who knows?

For ex. (to show why I'm so confused)...
Fertilty Friend says 16-20 with the 20 being OV
Fertility Circle says 2...22-25 (optimaize) with 24 as Ov, and 20-26, 26 being OV (estimated)
MyMonthlyCycles says 19-23 with the 22 as OV.

So, I've got a range of the 20th, right through the 26th???? And I believe WebMD gave me the 21st as OV day LOLOL. I'm so confused .

Heeeeeeeelp please!!

Have you been taking your temperature later than normal the last few days? The open circles indicate that something is causing those temps to be not completely accurate, either late temping, or a cold, not sleeping well, something like that. For charting to be accurate and easy to read, you need to be sure to take your temps at the same time every day. Since your cervix is HSO, and you're experiencing wet cm, then you most likely have not o'd yet. Since you haven't seen any EWCM at all yet, I'm going to venture a guess that you won't be o'ing for several days yet. Keep dtd as often as you can.

It's sort of hard to take my temp. at the same time everyday. Some days I'm up & wide awake at 2 or 3am, but more often than not, I'm up around 4am. On the weekend, I slept in later than normal due to all the late BD'ing . On the nights/mornings I wake up early (before 4), should I wait until 4 before taking my temp?? After tonight I'm not too sure when I'll get a chance to see him again (maybe Friday or Saturday) so tonight might be my last chance for this week. Hope his swimmers are good and last out their full life expectancy LOL. Thanks for your thoughts on this!!!

You need at least 3 hours of solid uninterrupted sleep for your temp to be accurate. So, if you normally wake at 4am, but there are days that you wake up at 2am, then I'd set the temp time at 2am as long as you're getting at least 3 hours sleep by then. If you really want charting to work for you, then set an alarm, wake up, take your temp, and go back to sleep, even on your days off. As you can see from your chart, taking your temp at different times or on less than restful sleep will really mess up your temps and make it very difficult to pinpoint your o date.

ETA: You'll also want to move as little as possible before taking your temp. Just reach for your thermometer and stick it in your mouth. No other movements as that can mess up your temp as well.

Even though your temps are high, I am guessing you have not O'd yet.

Thanks ladies - I feel much better now. I just saw that huge spike & thought I'd missed my chance. Hopefully by tonight I'll also have some more cooperative CF . Who knew trying to have a baby could be so difficult some times!

I agree with Meghan hun, its best to take it as close to the same time every day if you can because it will make your chart off if you take it later or earlier.

I'm definitely going to be more careful about taking my temps starting tonight! Last night was a bad night sleepwise...seemed like I was up constantly and then my 5 year old decided it was time to play at 1/4 to 4 so I took my temp. then, but it's probably not as accurate as it should have been.
