I always thought that your temp dipped on O day. Is that always true???

Yesterday & today, I have been crampy & have been having O pains... on both sides, but more on the right. And my low back is a little achy. Last cycle, I O'ed on CD15... today is CD15 for me, so I'm thinking that I might be getting ready to O.

So back to my question... do temps always take a dip on O day?
AND... I forget, can you feel O pains on both sides or is it usually just one side?

Thanks gals!

I know that not everyone has a dip on O day, but I'm not sure about your pain question ... sorry!

From what I know...Yes, you normally would see a dip in your temp on O-day. Then the next following days, your temp should spike back up, and usually stay in the higher temps.

As for O-pains, they say it is usually on one side. The side that you will be releasing an egg from. I don't think both your ovaries should feel pain, considering usually it's either one or the other that releases an egg.

My temp was up this morning! I think I might have O'ed!!! YAY!
I faked temps for the next few days, and as long as they stay up, yesterday was O for me!
Felt like it too!
I don't think I've ever felt my ovaries working like that before! LOL
