Another temp rise this morning, Im getting excited now!!
BD'd last night so Im hoping we caught that egg.

Couple of questions:
If I O'd on CD 14 will BD'ing tonight (CD 16) be to late to catch the egg?

If we BD'd on O date (CD 14) and DF couldnt 'finish the job' so to speak, do i just write it off as a waste of time, or is there still a small chance that it was helpful?

I still cant believe that after only 1 month of Metformin I could be ovulating!!

Unfortunately, bd'ing 2 days after o would make it pretty much impossible to conceive. I suppose there might be a rare chance, like 1 in 100,000, but no odds that are hopeful.

On a brighter note, if you bd'd on o day and your dh couldn't finish, there's still a possibility that his "pre-cum" could impregnate you.

Wow, you're lucky that you are ovulating after just one month on Met!! I've been on Met for about almost 3 weeks now and still nothing. But something is happening for sure though , because my breasts are becoming sore. Hopefully my breasts will be sore for over 2 weeks, so I could suspect that I may be pregnant and I can then thank Met!! But as for now, I don't know what is really happening. My temps have been higher then the average pre-O temps. So maybe I did O and just didn't realize i did. I guess time will tell.

Now, as to answer your question....if you think you O'd on CD14, but didn't bd til CD16...I would say that there is a high chance that you would have missed your egg. Only because they say the high chance of getting pregnant is just before O, and the latest is the day after O. But not 2 days after O. The egg only lasts between 12-24hours.

If you did bd on CD14, but your dh didn't finish his deed, then unfortunately the chance of conceiving that day is very unlikely as well. If u did have an egg on that day, you would need the sperm to fertilize the egg.

Even if he didnt finish hun there is still a chance I wouldnt write it off, lots of luck!

If he didn't finish, pre-cum does have sperm in it, so you still have a chance.

Like I said before, the chances of me getting pg on my second cycle trying are very slim and I know that, so I will settle for ovulating because for a woman with PCOS ovulating is wonderful! But hey, ovulating and conceiving would be more than great!!!!

I guess we have to wait and see what tomorrow brings!!
