I have been thinking lately... maybe my temps aren't that accurate.
Hubby's alarm goes off at 6:30 and almost always wakes me up. But just for a second, until he turns it off and gets up. I'm probably awake less than 30 seconds.
So... I go back to sleep & then get up & temp at 8:00.
My question... how accurate do you think my temps are... I mean, I probably don't move much when I do wake up at 6:30...
I don't think I could function enough to take my temps when HE gets up... but they might be more accurate... I dunno... what do you girls think?

I think you need to temp at 6:30 when he gets up.

I am in the exact same situation....when DH's alarm goes off at 6:30 I grab my therm., take my temp, and go right back to sleep...DH laughs at me because he says I have gotten so good at it that I just move my arm...LOL

Well I know that it takes a lot for my temps to fluctuate b/c a couple of times I have temped as soon as I woke up then got out of bed, used the bathroom, came back to bed, had sex, slept for 45 more minutes, woke up and temped and my temp is mabe a tenth of a degree higher but that's it. Like instead of 97.3 its 97.4. So I don't put too much thought into temping.

I do the same thing - DF gets up between 6:30 - 7:00, but I don't usually have to get up that early. I temp when he gets up because sometimes I am awake for a short while to say goodbye to him, or other things ... lol So, I just temp when he gets up between 6:30-7:00.

Wow, that's insane!!!
Well, I *tried* to temp when hubby got up this morning, but before I could reach over and grab my BBT, I was already snuggled back down in the covers, snoozing away. I am NOT a morning person! LOL...

I'm the same way! DH is convinced that I don't even always wake up.....that it's just a reflex. Might be since I did wake up with my thermometer still in my mouth the other day! lmao Thank goodness mine has a recall function. I'd never know what my temp was other wise!

I would temp when his alram goes off. If you have trouble waking up and doing it see if he is willing to help you and get it and stick it in your mouth for you.

I agree. I think it'd be best if you temped when the alarm went off. This is why I haven't temped this cycle. I am going to switch my temping time next cycle and start over if I don't get pregnant this month.

That's what mine did for me the first couple of months til I got more used to it.
Believe me, I am so not a morning person, lol.
