I quit in charting my temp!! It's been so fustrating and stressful. Each day I anticipate what my temp will be, and it never goes the way it should be. I'm going to go back charting my CM instead.

Thanks to all who had helped!!

I know it's frustrating when things don't go the way you wanted them too, but don't give up yet. Temping can give your doctor a much better idea of what your body is doing. More so than just CM alone. You really need to have both to accurately see what your body is doing.

I hope things go better for you.

Oh no! I just started so that isn't too reassuring to me. Why is it so frustrating if you don't mind me asking? Remember I'm a newbie at this in case this is a dumb question

It is fustrating and stressful because your temps are suppose to be at a certain degree before O and after O. My temps are just wacko and doing crazy things. Keep inmind though, temps are different for everybody...so it may be a good experience for you. Goodluck.

Oh hun .. I'm sorry it's so frustrating and stressful for you! I'm sure we all know how that goes! My cycles are wacky too, and my last few cycles I'm sure have been annovulatory - And, I'm not 100% sure about this one .. I've considered not charting anymore, but I think it would drive myself even more crazy if I didn't have the charting to at least help me understand a little more about what is going on with my body. And, I want to have the charts to go to the doctor with. But, you have to do what is best for YOU .. I wish you the best of luck hun, and we're here for you!

Keep in mind that cm just tells you when your body is gearing up to o, it doesn't confirm that you actually o'd. Temping will confirm that you are ovulating. If you're not ovulating, then the first thing your dr. is going to do is suggest that you chart for a few months before offering you any treatment. If you have those charts in hand, showing that you're not o'ing, then your dr. is more likely to give you fertility meds. Just FYI. If I wasn't o'ing, I'd want to know.
