I have a 15 month old who is cutting the remainder of his eye teeth. Yesterday morning, he woke up at the crack of dawn (5:00 a.m.) and wouldn't go back to sleep.

My temp was 97.72

I normally get up at 7 a.m. to temp. Should I adjust yesterday's temp to 98.02 - as I have read that a good rule of thumb to follow is to increase the reading by .10 every 1/2 early you wake up, and decrease it by .10 every 1/2 hour late you wake up.

WDYT?

If it's just one temp, I wouldn't change it. The temp corrector isn't as accurate. If it's only one temp you should be fine.

FF recommends not trying to adjust temps, rather just chart them at the time and temp you took. If there are very many temps taken at different time, the software will have a hard time analyzing your data and will make it difficult to see a clear pattern of pre-o, o and post o temps.

I dont adjust because mine are not always the "rule". I would leave it as it, just make sure to put the time and it will be an open circle is all hun.

I agree with the other ladies. I would not adjust it. If it seems to be 'off' later in your cycle and it looksl ike it needs to be adjusted you can do it as needed.
