I was wondering if anyone has made the obsevation about being at or close to your "normal" weight and it being easier to conceive? I weigh more now then I did at the beginning of each of my 3 pregnancies (had no problem back then getting pregnant) and I noticed that from Oct-March my cycles were more regular (I used to walk my daughter to and from school more, way more than I did in April,May and June). I wish I would of temped back then!! Has anyone else noticed something like this with their cycles? Plus okay- I admit that I havn't really been watching what I eat like I used to, hence the weight gain.

I am alot heavier than I was when I got pregnant with my kids. Doctors definitely say that being heavy makes it harder to conceive. IDK though. Honestly my cycles seem to be more regular now that I am heavier. Might just be because I am maintaining this weight, and not yo-yoing up and down with 5 or 10 pounds like I did when I was thinner though. Sorry I couldn't really help you much.

I've heard a lot of women say that even losing 5 pounds has helped them get their BFP that month, but honestly, lots of women get pregnant and they are the heaviest they have ever been, so who knows.

No what you said makes sense about the yo-yo dieting because I have heard that it can make you irregular and mess up your metabolism. While I am at this TTC journey I think I might try and lose a little more weight, nothing hardcore just eat more healthier and exercise (walk) more. Thanks!
