Alright ladies, who here works out frequently? What kind of exercise regimen do you follow? Do you use exercise equipment? If yes, what's the best?

Me personally, I walk daily (usually 4 miles) on the trail right beside my house. It's 2 miles to the other end, and then 2 back. Right now we're saving up for a treadmill so that I'll be able to continue walking in the winter without wading through snow that's up to my waist. I do crunches a couple of times a week, and have also asked DH to get me something like the ABDoer or something. I've used it before and thought it was great! I know I need to add more exercise so that I can actually lose some weight faster which docs say will make it easier to conceive, but if I jump into it all at once, I get burnt out, so I'm adding slowly.

I dont do too much, I walk every day at least a mile if not more. That is about it. I dont have room for any stuff in my house, I do however have a couple DVD that I have used. One is a pilates and the other a yoga.

I soooo need to start working out again!!! I use to workout frequently, but since I took my vacation last May I just lost all steam. I will soon start walking again and work back up to jogging. I think my favorite workout "tool" is the exercise ball because you can really workout ANYTHING with it and it's easy on your joints and all.

Hi, I used to always walk dd to and from school to get in at least 2 miles a day plus if I went the long way it would end up being 3 miles. But I have gotten extremly lazy and I know I have put on weight in the last few months. (Which is why I suspect my cycle is acting weird). The hardest part after falling off the exercise wagon is getting back on...but once I'm on, there's no stopping me. Oh yeah....sometimes dd and I will dance around the house when we play music. She thinks we're playing but if I'm working up a sweat, I'll consider it exercise!

When we moved last year I left my treadmill behind (I was so bummed because it was a nice one too) so we have just been walking (3-5 miles) at the track behind our place. I don't dare run on it because the ground is uneven and I already have a history of breaking and spraining things, lol

We were just talking this morning about maybe getting one of the Bowflexes for my birthday next month. Either that or another treadmill - we're gonna measure and decide.

In 2003-2004, I was having a good time training at my karate school 15 hours a week. From 2004 onward... my form of exercise consists of typing, using a mouse, clicking the mouse, and using my arms to put food in my mouth :-p

I'm on that same "exercise" plan too. (Sad huh??I just have no desire to do anything!)

DH & I go to the gym 6 days a week. We lift weights for about an hour & then do about 20 minutes of cardio. Plus, we have an eliptical machine at home... we do cardio first thing in the morning on that.
