I HAVE BEEN USING MY THERM. THAT GIVES 4 DIGITS BUT I HAVE BEEN ROUDING IT OFF IS THAT GOOD OR BAD?

I always use what the thermometer gives me (97.74). I just assumed it would be more accurate.

I use the exact number. I don't even know why you would want to round if FF lets you put in the exact number.

i read somewhere that its better to interpret your chart w.o the 4 digits. it makes it look smoother so you know if your having a thermal shift or not better. i think i read that from TCOYF or something cuz their BBT therm comes with the 3 digits only.

My BBT only measures to the .1, so I don't have to worry about rounding. As long as you areconsistent and always round the same way it will be accurate.

I personally would probably round it because I do find it easier to interpret the chart that way. I get frustrated when I am looking at a chart that is in to the .00 because the mark between the lines is more difficult to visualize for me.

I don't round my number up - I put it just as it is .. Though, I didn't think you were supposed to ... Now, I'm curious what is better!!! lol

The key is to be consistent throughout your cycle. If you only want to go to .1 instead of .01 that is up to you. I personally put the .01 just because I feel it's more accurate. It's really just a matter of personal preference.

I dont round up either, but I can tell the shift on my chart. If you cant it then its best to round up.
