Please forgive me if this a simple question! I am 8 days past Ovulation and so am I to assume that I am in my luteal phase? I have only charted last month which didn't really look like I ov'ed & because I forgot to temp on my posssible o days. So I couldn't keep track of my luteal phase. Mind you, I didn't even know what a L.P. was until recently. I really don't think I BD'ed on prime O days (Ughghh!!) so I think af will show. If she shows now would the length of my l. phase be from ovulation to the day af shows up? Someone asked me how many days was my l. phase and I couldn't even answer her. Thanks so much. Yes, it's the days from O to AF. You count the day after you O as 1DPO and your first day of AF as the next cycle...

I would say that you are 8 DPO, so yes, you're 8 days into your LP.
