Hi girls,
I am new to this forum, but just joined JM in June. Anyways, I had a question about my chart, and I am hoping that somebody will be able to help me. I started charting last month, so this is month #2. I took OPK's this month and last, but I can't figure out if I o'd. I don't think I did so why did I get a positive on an OPK?? Do you think I'm going to O in the near future, or did and just didn't get my temp spike yet. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much. By the way, my cycles vary from 30-40 days. Last month I had a 32 day cylce. This month, who knows?? Typically though, I am between 32 and 35.

First off, welcome to the charting board! I'm Stephanie, one of your co-hosts here. I look forward to getting to know you more.

I can't tell you if you O'd or not because the link is just taking me to a start up page. What I can tell you is that it is possible for OPK's to detect a surge when your body tries to O, but to not actually O. That's why it's so important to use charting and the OPK's together at least until you know you have a regular cycle. Hope that helps!

Thanks so much Stephanie. Sorry about my chart.....I'm really not sure about all of this computer stuff. I'm pretty new to all of it. My temp did spike today, so as long as it stays up for the next 2 days I did o then right?

To tell you girls a little bit about myself, I am 31 and DH is 30. We are celebrating our 5 year ann. in october of this year. We have two furbabies, a dog (Norm, although she is female....DH named her) and a cat (Smokey). Norm is a yellow lab, and our baby. She gets whatever she wants. Although, she is 8 years old and has really bad hip dysplasis (sp.). She's been on rimadyl off and on for about 2 years. I work at a middle school as a counselor and DH is a machinist. I have one sister who lives half way across the country. She has 2 beautiful children, my niece is 3 years old and my nephew is 1 1/2. They are soooo cute, but I only get to see them about 3-4 times per year.

Thanks so much for welcoming me. I can't wait to get to know the rest of you!!!!
