My son decided to wake me up crying at 5am. I didn't have to actually get up with him. He cried for like 30 seconds and then went back to sleep. I did too. I woke up and temped at 6:00 like normal. Would waking up for a few minutes at 5 affect my temp? The only reason I ask is it jumped up a bit this morning which i know it CAN do that just randomly. I'm pretty sure I haven't O'd yet so I don't think it's that. Also, I was really hot when I temped, but then I temped again at 7 before I got up (I do this sometimes just because) and it was about .5 degrees higher than it was at 6 which is normal for me as well.

Here's my chart if that makes any difference...http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1a1a64

I jump every time I hear my daughter or the alarm goes off.. and I've wondered the same thing, but it's not something that's in my control!

If you are going right back to sleep, and not getting up at all, I don't think it's going to affect it too much. I wake up at 4 alot of days just long enough to turn of the alarm when it goes off for DH. Then I get back up and temp at 6:00 I haven't seen it affecting my temps too much. HTH
