Answer OPK

I have read on numerous boards/forums/review sites that "answer" opks are not the best on the market. I didn't read this before buying them. I used 3 already and yesterday I got a pretty significant line (not as dark as the test line much lighter but clearly visible) but today I took 2 and got a very faint line but today is the day my cm is most abundant and my ovulite showed ferning. Do "answer" opks not work? Let me know!

Ive only used Answer opks and i think they work great so far....i had taken one on cd14 that was neg and then on cd15(afternoon) i had a real dark one that i thought was positive and then cd15(evening) the line was lighter again but then on cd16 i had a BEAMING dark line that was 10x darker than the control line so i knew it was positive...good luck with them!

I'm using them for the first time this month, and like you, got a pretty faint line yesterday and today, but I swear I'm O'ing today. It definitely wasn't what I'd call a positive test, but maybe the lines just don't show up as dark for some people??? I don't know.

If your using the ones you can pee on I think they call them midstream, I am not really sure what they called. I hated them, the ones you dip in urine are much better.

the box says you can hold them for midstream or put urine in the cup and thats what i've been doing. Like DoblersGirl I too am feeling like I am o'ing since I have cm and ferning but I also will see what happens tomorrow but am bd'ing today anyway

Those ones suck, I hated them. Not once did I get a true positive with those, now the ones you CANT pee on you HAVE to dip in a cup I had a lot of better luck with.

I figured! They were really cheap 11.74...so I guess you get what you pay for! Should have "splurged" and opted for the pricier ones

I have used both types of Answer OPK's (and other brands) and the dip kind are the best I have ever used. Here is a pic of how dark the line gets with both types (some ClearBlue Easy are with the second set).....

With the second set I thought for sure I had a + on CD 10. Turns out I Oed on CD 16 that month.

I used the midstream kind for two months and I do not like them at all. Maybe I will have to give them another chance and use the dip kind. Are those the ones that they sell 20 to a package?

Yeah I just used a whole box in 4 days (7 sticks). I got the same line that I got that one day(a bit lighter than test line but def there) and this morning I didn't get anything (as I didn't get for 5 of those tests). I will def never be using these again or wasting my money on Answer products!

wow.. that is more positive OPK's then I've ever had. I've been lucky if I got ONE per cycle (OPK'ing 2-3x/day) and then it's usually right back to totally negative.. unfortunately, even my positives are debatable. OPK's suck for me!
