I was wondering if an implantion dip will be seen on every chart? My temp keeps rising, no drops yet. Well it dropped just a tiny bit this morning because i wouldn't count that as a dip. Is it possible for the baby to implant during the day and you miss it because you didn't check your temp to notice the dip? I had cramps for awhile yesterday, they weren't painful just annoying but then again i've been having that since 1DPO.

Thanks.

Nope, not everyone has a temp dip. I think actually more people don't have a temp drop than do.

And you can have that temp dip & it not be a real implatation dip as well.

Your chart looks really really good. The temps are high and they are still rising, hoping you'll get a triphasic one this cycle. Good luck !

Your chart looks awesome so far. The others are right. Not everyone gets a implantation dip, and even if you do have a dip, it doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant. Just one more thing for us to obsess about! lol

If I remember correctly the implantation dip is caused by the corpus luteum begining to die, so it is not releasing as much progesteron. This decrease causes the temp to drop as if AF is about to start. Then the egg implants and takes over the progerterone production. Which makes the temp rise again.

So if your CL lasts long enough for the egg to implant and start producing, or causing hormones to be produced which ever it does....lol, then your temp will stay high without the implantation dip.

Does that make any sense? Did I really read that somewhere? Maybe I made it up, or dreamed it or something....rofl.

*claps loudly for a job well done!* Great job explaining that. And yeah.... I read that too! Don't remember where though. I currently have 4 or 5 TTC books checked out from the library and I know it was in one of them!

ETA: Holy crap Marissa! Your chart is HOT! How long is your normal LP? Any idea? If that was my chart I probably would have been testing a week ago! Good luck! I hope you get your BFP!

It really depends on what day AF wants to show. Last cycle she came on CD 25 and any other time its CD 26. So my LP is about 15 or 16 days long. Which gives that egg plenty of time to implant Oh i would have caved by now but my SO hid the tests so i can't cave too early and get disappointed. I'm waiting till next sunday to test so that would make AF 2 or 3 days late.
