apology

I wanted to apologize to you ladies for not posting as much as normal the past few days. We had a bad storm at the end of last week, and I think it fried my modem....at least partially. It's only working when it wants too, so part of the time I can't access the internet at all. Hopefully I'll be able to get it fixed soon.

I talked to the cable company (cable modem) and as it turns out the problem has nothing to do with the storm last week and everything to do with the heatwave we're in the middle of. Right now at just after midnight, with fans going full force, my house is FINALLY down to a nice, cool, relaxing....... 96 DEGREES! At midnight! This is crazy. At one point today my living room hit 113 degrees! Thank God for the AC in the bedroom! The kids and I spent most of the afternoon in there. The outside temps only hit around 103 or 104 today but this apartment stays 10 - 15 degrees hotter than the outside in the summer time. One more day to get through and then a cold front is supposed to drop the temps to the 80's again. I can't friggin wait!
