I'm TTC and on Clomid (cycle #2)--I didn't O before clomid, so have only temped one full cycle in which I have O'ed.
I missed my O last month because it happened on CD#25 and I figured I didn't O so I stopped my OPK's about 3 days before that.
This month, I didn't do the OPK's. I was sick over the few days I expected to O (CD#25) but my temp really didn't change yesterday.
Today is CD#27 and my temp increased by 0.45 degrees (last month it went up 0.90 degrees).
Is the 0.45 degrees enough to indicate that I O'ed...or probably not? I also had some sharp pains on one side which were there off/on for two days, but pretty much gone today...O pains?
Thanks!

Clomid #1: 50mg--no labs drawn
Clomid #2: 50 mg, Progesterone Level: 0.6
Clomid #3: 100mg--no labs drawn
Clomid #4: 100mg, Progesterone Level: 6.6
Clomid #5: 150mg, Progesterone Level: 10.8
Break from Clomid due to finding out DH S/A showed poor morphology (0-4%).
Repeat S/A on 2/7 and Urologist appointment on 2/21: Results showed abnormally high sperm count, so when that is taken into consideration, the morphology is normal.
First RE appointment: 3/17

Four-tenths of a degree is definitely enough to be considered an ovulatory rise for sure. However, I'm confused because you are on Clomid and ovulating so late. Clomid kinda forces your body to ovulate between 6 and 12 days after you take your last pill. But having said that, anything could be possible. I have heard about ladies who ovulate late on Clomid, but I didn't think it was very common.

The pains you are describing could be ovulation pains or, if you have any ovarian cysts it could be due to the Clomid. One of the side effects of Clomid is that it can temporarily enlarge ovarian cysts. I had that happen this cycle and it felt like dull pressure and aching.

I have to add that I'm no expert. I'm only guessing.

Do you have a link to your chart? I'd love to see it!

When in doubt, I'd say....go BD!!

Can you share your chart? I have a friend that is on clmoid(round #1) and she is just Oing on CD26 herself. It is possible to O this late on clomid. And, a shift of .4 is considered a thermal shift enough for O!

I am not on clomid but I was thinking the same thing. I thought you had to take the clomid early in your cycle and that it was supposed to make you ovulate shortly after. I certainly think you could have ovulated but I don't know. I would like to see your chart as well.

*Most* people (I guess) do O early on clomid...I apparently, O late. I have come across a few others who O on CD 20+ (last month, AF came exactly 14 days later).
I'll try to get link to my chart later today.
Thanks!
