I am wondering if my temps aren't showing a good pattern because of the way I have been temping. I haven't been sleeping well. The last couple hours I have been half awake. I don't know. I just can't figure it out. My temps are still not jumping up and I am getting really discouraged. This is my first cycle charting so it may be a problem with me doing something wrong with my temps. I am still breastfeeding my dd and I know bfing can delay ovulation. I am starting to wonder if I am not ovulating. I am ready to cry today. I hope that it is just me screwing up somewhere and that I will still get a bfp. We have bd'd a lot so I don't know. I was really excited and sure I would have a temp rise today. I just don't know what to think right now.

Laying there awake can affect your temps. I'm not quite sure what to make of it, but you may get your surge tomorrow. :hugs:

I have decided to stop worrying so much. My cervix was extremely high yesterday morning, so high I couldn't find it, and then by the afternoon it was midway and today it was very low. My cm has dried up and I think I ovulated based on my cm and cp. I am not sure why my temps haven't gone up yet but I think I o'd yesterday morning and am going to stop worrying myself. Hopefully I will see a temp rise tomorrow.

Those are all great signs that you did O, so hopefully the temps will reflect it tomorrow!

I agree, I wouldn't worry just yet. All the other signs are looking good and you may not be getting an accurate temp reading if you aren't sleeping very well. Can you maybe set your alarm before you start waking up, for example

10p - go to bed
3a - take your temp and continue sleeping
4a-6a - wrestless sleep

Does that make sense? It totally does in my head! LOL

Also, my first month charting, I didn't O until CD 20! So, anything can happen, you know? Just wait out the first month to see what your body is doing. Of course, if you get a bfp this month then no worries, right?

Well that is what I was planning to do next cycle. I think changing my temp time midcycle would really make my chart wacky. I am going to try to keep the temp time the same the remainder of this cycle. I think the thing was I was sleeping till 8ish when I started temping this month so 7 was good but now I have been waking earlier (probably because I am not going back to sleep after I trouble myself to wake up and temp) and so this is what messed things up. Next month (if I don't get a bfp this month) I am going to change my temp time to 5am. I think that would make my chart much more accurate.

I did look around FF's charts and have seen quite a few that had a small rise and then a big rise. I think my temps will go up tomorrow. I am having no cm and my cervix is much lower now. I just hate waiting!
