Going anywhere? Doing anything special?
The weather here is supposed to be pretty nice this weekend. I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing Saturday, but Sunday I'm going to a "Tea for Teal" even to support Ovarian Cancer research.

Sarah that is really great what you are doing. I have no idea what we are doing this weekend but dd's birthday is today so we will probably try to take the kids to do something fun this weekend.

Oooh, have fun Patty!
I think I might jet over to the other side of the state to visit my mom. Her birthday is Wednesday and I want to deliver her bday present in person.

We have a birthday party for a 2 year old to go to tomorrow. We are also going to swim in our pool for the first time of the season Our pump was broken, had to buy a new one, yada yada, so now it's finally working. We'll be able to enjoy it for a couple of weeks probably, then we'll have to shut it down. We will also be finishing our floors, we put in Bamboo hardwood floors last year and still haven't put up the paneling, or whatever it's called, but dh has been working on it for the past couple of weekends, so hopefully we will finish it.

DH is gonna be working this whole weekend I was really hoping he'd be around so he could take my mind of this horrible wait. I think I might be going to the movies tonight with my mother & sis-in-law. My mom just got diagnosed with a kidney stone, so I'll probably be helping her out a lot this weekend. So really nothing too exciting. Which is okay, we've been pretty busy these last few weekends. We went to Laughlin 2 weeks ago and then Malibu last weekend.
Sarah- I just have to say I think you & your DH are just the cutest couple! I hope you get your BFP soon! I'm also going to school to be a nurse. What floor do you work on?

Awww, thanks Carley!!! I hope we get a sticky BFP soon too! We've been trying for too long!
I actually work for a midwife in an OB/GYN office, adjacent to a hospital. I handle all of her triage calls, as well as triage in the office--injections, wound care, working up the prenatal patients, I do prescriptions, and help her with procedures. It's a lot of fun, but a LOT of work!
Hope you enjoy nursing school...it's hard work, but TRUST me, it's ALL worth it in the end!!!!

I hope we both get lucky soon too!
I'm planning on working on the L & D floor and then eventually I'm thinking of going into midwifery. Sounds like your job is fun and it keeps you VERY busy!

DH is gone(still...) so no big plans here. I think I am taking it easy today, and then tomorrow I start nannying for a week.

It's been a boring day so far//which is all good.
I love the family I am nannying for, they have all older kids except one, so she is the one I am really there for. It's going to be a fun and easy week.

We're doing nada this weekend. Dh has been crazy busy at work so he really likes down time on the weekends. We did go grocery shopping though & rented a few movies!

Well, my short trip my parents yesterday ended up with me going to a high school football game and not coming home til 1 am!
My sister is a cheerleader at my old high school...and their Friday night game got rained out. Wasn't planning on going, but it was silly to watch them all, and think, man, I was that silly years ago!

We've done nothing DH broke his arm 2 weeks ago and so we've virtually been housebound since. I never knew a broken arm could be such a pain... quite literally!! He's been in agony, poor soul! Plus the fact he has a plaster cast from fingers to shoulder doesn't help!

Oh Fiona, your poor DH! I feel his pain! Poor thing!
I just got home from the tea. I won a matted/framed print of our state butterfly! It's beautiful!
I'm going to get in the kitchen and make some dinner, as well as some muffins to take to work tomorrow. Yum!

lol..the 17 year old wasn't bad(other than trying to wake her up this morning), the 14 year old(who normally causes trouble) behaved..but the 5 year old won't even talk to me, she's super shy but she got in trouble 3 times yesterday. I have to leave in a little over an hour to go get her from school...
